I got Hydrogen on my mind

A German research team has developed a (H)ydrogen producing reactor by heating methane CH4 to 1200 C using natural gas. The conversion rate was observed to be 78% during a two week trial with cost between 2 to 3 euros per kilogram, which will be even lower if US natural gas was used. Provided that the German reactor does not develop any clogging problems, this method may turn out to be a reasonable way to start large scale production of (H)ydrogen.
