Prelude to space war?

The 20,000 pieces of space junk floating above earth may one day cause an armed confrontation between two space faring nations, a report from the Russian Academy of Sciences said. A Russian military satellite named Blits collided and was damaged by the remains of Chinese satellite lost in a failed launch and the ISS had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid collision with space junk.
