Over the last 8 years Obama has touted the incredible efficiency of the electric car, using companies as Tesla to chart this nation trek into the havens of crystal clean air and no global warming. But recent data by the EPA throws a bucket of cold water on the invincibility of electric cars to the ambient environment by the disclosure that at temperature drop below 20F, the conventional cars mileage dips by 12%, but the hybrids mileage drops by 34%. Even worst at steady 20F the all electric vehicle mileage drops by 57%, meaning that the average miles traveled at 75F of 105 miles drops down to only 43 miles, a cathstophic loss. As the joke goes, don't mess with mother physics. This is another Solyndra folly isn't it?
