Heidi Cruz long bout with depression started when she left her job as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and returned to Texas where her husband was a solicitor general and helped raise money for his Presidential campaign. Responding to a 911 call police found Mrs. Cruz on the side of a highway with speeding traffic just 10 feet away, sitting down with her head in her hands. A police officer wrote in his report that he felt that she may be a danger to herself.
