German Spring: Gnomes And Witches

A scary tradition in the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany on the night before May 1st in the Harz region of Germany when  hundreds women dressed in witches' costumes celebrate "Walpurgis Night" by dancing all night long around fires. 
The legend of the ancient folklore made people believe that witches will fly on their brooms to the Brocken Mountain and together with evil gnomes would celebrate the arrival of spring.
